Timka was commissioned by Tatiana as a memorial present for her father.

Such a beautiful looking boy that had passed. And very black! We had a good photo to work from, and in the end I opted for simple shadowing down the bottom as I don’t generally like to do grass, I find it can be too overwhelming with the texture of the fur. It came out really well and we added his name to the top :) Tatiana and her family loved their portrait and an extract from her email can be read below.
