Spock

Spock was commissioned by Anna as a memorial portrait.

A lovely black cat, he was beautiful. Having a black cat myself, I have a soft spot for them. I had issues with this canvas unfortunately, and it took a lot of layers to get this one to work, as the oil and varnish took some of the paint off when dry. It still needs a bit of retouching and is with Anna for a few months to let the paint really sink in and then will come back to me. However, troubles aside, the portrait turned out really well, and both Anna and I loved it.
