Sweep

Sweep is a Border Collie and was commissioned by Jacinda for her Father in Law as a gift.

She is beautiful and a fabulous photo to work from. One of my trickier portraits, as both black and white can be the most challenging colours to work with, but I am really pleased with how it developed. As some of her white fur was harder to see in the original background, I went with a tonal background in darker colours.  Jacinda was really pleased with the portrait, her testimonial can be read below.

Couldn't be happier with the portrait of Sweep-Fiona somehow managed to capture so much personality and character in her portrait. The quality of and care put in to the portrait is obvious.
