Anubis

Anubis is a beautiful Greyhound and was commissioned by Nicole as a birthday present for her husband.

Isn’t he beautiful? I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely boy, he is every bit as gorgeous in person. A large oil, this one was larger than life! Brindle’s can be quite difficult, as there is a lot of colour change in the coat, with lots of detail, but I am super pleased with the result, it came out so well in the end. We chose a more textured background as there is a lot of space around him, and I thought it would suit a large portrait better.. He is such a stunning boy with those big brown eyes that look right through you. Nicole was delighted with her portrait, as was her husband.
