Zak

Zak was a gorgeous Beardie and was commissioned by Adam.

Wasn’t he beautiful? Unfortunately he passed while this portrait was being done, so it turned into a memorial painting. Such a gorgeous boy! Quite a tricky portrait this one. I find reasonably straight fur with lots of texture can be quite challenging but we got there in the end! We had to get a bit creative with the mockup as the original photo only had his face and a lot of the body and part of the head was cut off. Luckily we had a shot that was very similar so I was able to reference the body and create a mockup from this. Zak loved his portrait and an extract from his email can be read below.
