Size Guide

Which size is the most suitable? Generally, as a rule, the smaller canvases are suitable for a single head and shoulder portrait, while the larger canvas are suitable for multiple subjects, or detailed head and body portraits.

However, it also depends on the photo. Some subjects make excellent portraits on the smaller canvas, Lucas and Bremworth (both my cat portraits) for example. While Sarg (white Standard Poodle), being such a detailed portrait, would have lost detail on the small canvas and held much more impact on a larger one.

If you are unsure please get in touch. I will go through your photo's with you and help you find the most suitable size within your budget.

Due to the expense of the materials a 30% deposit is required at the start of the portrait, with the remainder to be paid upon completion of the portrait and the your approval. Payment can be made via Bank Deposit or secure credit card payment through PayPal.

Please see my About Commissions page, which gives you full information on the process involved, client contact and how it all works.
