Poppy

Poppy is a gorgeous Labradoodle and was commissioned by Luella.

What a cutie! An absolute pleasure to paint with her colours and gorgeous curly fur. We decided to go with the scenic background on this. It was thought to go with the original plus a bit of added colour to the water as you couldn’t really see it in the photo, but I found the rocks were too much with the curly fur, so I smoothed that out instead. I also did a bit of adjustment to her left eye, as it was hidden by the fur. Luella loved her portrait and an extract from her email can be read below.
