Nala

Nala has sadly passed and was commissioned as a memorial portrait by Joshua.

She was so gorgeous! Such a beautiful girl with her colours and sweet face. A lovely portrait to do, quite different with the scenic background. I’m not that experienced with water so it took a bit of work to get it right! I pulled the grass at the front as it can be texture overload, and it just wasn’t working. She was sitting far enough forward in the portrait to be able to get away with it. One of my favourites, this one is really quite stunning with its colours. The photo doesn’t really do it justice, they are always more 3D in person. I love it and so did Joshua.
