Lily

Lily was commissioned by her owner Alix, as a specialty painting to add her beautiful cat to her collection of minature's.

This was a unusual commission as it was a minature painting and very small! The size you see here is the actual size of the original painting. 

Quite a challange to work with a canvas so small, however it was a fabulous photo to work from and a rewarding painting to do. White is a favourite colour of mine to work with and I was very pleased, given the size, how much the painting retained its true oil impact and beauty.
