Jed

Jed was a beautiful Black Labrador and was commissioned by Cathy as a birthday gift for her husband Ben. In this adorable photo of Jed he was the ring bearer for their wedding, which made this portrait extra special. Lots of very dark fur in this portrait, it was interesting and fun to get that nice, soft effect.

Unfortunately, Jed passed away just after this commission, which was so sad to hear! They wrote a beautiful testimonial and it means so much that they love this treasured keepsake of him. Please read their testimonial below.

My husband absolutely loved the portrait of Jed – he thought it was really well done and a true likeness (it actually brought tears to his eyes) – his birthday was on the Tuesday last week and we lost Jed on the following Saturday – we are all devastated – I told Ben when I gave him the portrait that it was his to choose where he would like to hang it – I honestly thought he was going to put it in his Bar out in his "Man Cave" – but he has put it in pride of place in the lounge where it can be seen by all and never missed by anyone. Thank you so much again for the absolutely brilliant job you made of Jed's Portrait – it was always going to mean a lot to both of us – but now it means everything.
